November 2024
How is it already December ? It feels like this year has flown by. November has been spent in a lot of prayer
With your support, we continue our mission in Guatemala, aiding children with special needs and leading the Hope for Home ministry. Jay works in vehicle maintenance and serves as assistant director, while Kelsie brings joy through activities at the Fulp Home.
As interim directors of the adult home, we adapt to various roles that are needed to be filled, including overseeing staff and participating in outreach with the 4 wheel drive ministry. Our newest adventure awaits in June with the arrival of our daughter. Together, we're dedicated to making a positive impact in Guatemala
Rural Village
Serving families in rural villages that have family members with special needs and no access to help.
Short Term
We lead all short term mission trips through Hope for Home ministries. Let us invite you into our world.
Hope for Home
Every organization has its administrative responsibilities and Hope for Home is no exception.
Hope for Home
All trucks, vans, cars, 4-wheelers, motos, bicycles and more are maintained by Jay.
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.
- Proverbs 31:8-9
We have found our purpose in Guatemala, where every day presents an opportunity to make a profound difference. Without the unwavering support of incredible individuals like you, our journey would not be possible.
Jay’s work in vehicle maintenance is not just a job—it’s a crucial component that keeps our operations running smoothly. From ensuring the reliability of our vehicles to troubleshooting unexpected issues, Jay’s dedication ensures that we can reach those in need without interruption. Additionally, as the assistant director of Hope for Home, Jay plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing our vision, guiding our team with wisdom and compassion.
Meanwhile, Kelsie brings a special brand of warmth and joy to the Fulp Home. Whether it’s organizing fun activities, creating a nurturing environment, or simply baking a birthday cake, Kelsie’s presence uplifts both residents and staff alike. Her passion for enriching the lives of others is evident in every interaction, and her contributions are integral to the heart of our mission. As interim directors of the adult home, Jay and Kelsie embrace the challenges and responsibilities that come with leadership. From managing staff to ensuring the well-being of our adults, they embody resilience and adaptability in the face of change. Additionally, their involvement with the 4 wheel drive ministry allows them to extend our reach even further, bringing hope and assistance to remote communities that are often overlooked. Amidst the whirlwind of our work, we are eagerly anticipating a new chapter in our lives: the arrival of our daughter, Logan Rue, in June. This impending joy serves as a reminder of the beauty and resilience of life, inspiring us to continue our efforts with renewed passion and determination.
Together, with your continued support, Jay and Kelsie are committed to making a lasting impact in Guatemala as a Family. Every day, they strive to create a brighter future for those they serve, one filled with love, compassion, and endless possibilities.
Jay and Kelsie's hearts are stirred by a profound calling to create a sanctuary of healing and hope for girls who have endured the trauma of sexual abuse. Their vision encompasses not only providing a safe and nurturing environment but also offering comprehensive support to help these young survivors reclaim their dignity and rebuild their lives.
In addition to their aspirations for the girls' foster home, Jay and Kelsie are deeply committed to extending their ministry to support women engaged in prostitution. Recognizing the complex web of challenges and vulnerabilities these women face, they are driven by a desire to offer compassion, resources, and a pathway to freedom from exploitation.
Central to their mission is a dedication to serving abused and battered women and girls, providing them with the holistic care and empowerment needed to break free from cycles of violence and trauma. Through their unwavering faith and compassionate hearts, Jay and Kelsie are prayerfully discerning the timing to launch this transformative ministry, trusting in God's guidance every step of the way.
They eagerly anticipate sharing updates on their journey as they navigate the path toward realizing their vision, knowing that with each step forward, they are shining a light of hope into the lives of those they are called to serve.
For victims of sexually abuse
We envision a home for girls who have endured the pain of sexual abuse. A haven where they can find solace, support, and a path to healing.
For the Broken Hearted
We dream of a ranch where scars are transformed into stories of resilience and where every soul is welcomed with open arms through God's gift of animal therapy.
For the unloved women
We pray for a ministry that reaches out to those in the darkest corners of society, offering hope and dignity to prostitutes seeking a way out
For those that were taken
We see a beacon of hope for trafficked children, offering refuge, restoration, and a pathway to freedom through a loving relationship with Christ.
