We’re a little late with this month’s update because last week was filled with celebrating Independence Day here—so many festivities!
Much of our time last month was spent preparing for meetings, working on better communication, and making sure that we are doing things efficiently. As usual, Jay dedicated a good portion of time to vehicle maintenance, and we were also able to enjoy a soul-refreshing visit with a friend. I have also been working on updating the photographs for different areas of the ministry.

One of the biggest milestones this month was finding out that one of our nephews was adopted and moved in with his new family. It’s bittersweet—we love him dearly, but we know that a smaller family dynamic will be so much better for his needs. Please be praying for our sister and brother-in-law’s family as they are mourning their son moving.

Another exciting milestone: Logan started walking this month!
On top of that, a friend and I have begun planning to host a Night to Shine here in February. We’ve already submitted our application and are thrilled about the possibility of bringing this special event to our community.
Our truck– we are still waiting for the parts and room at the mechanic for work to begin. Please pray that it can happen soon!
Ways you can be praying for us:
- Financial provision – we really need to raise our monthly support closer to our goal.
- Strength & energy – we’re both feeling pretty exhausted.
- Travel – we head to the States on Wednesday and are so excited to see family and friends!
If you feel led to give, you can through these ways.

Thank you for taking time to read about and pray for our family!
Love,
Jay, Kelsie, and Logan
