We returned to Guatemala on October 1 after a wonderful trip to Alabama for a wedding and some much-needed family time. It was such a blessing to also share updates at the church where I grew up.
Once we were back, I jumped right into preparing for our annual costume party—gathering supplies, creating costumes, and getting everything ready for a fun and joy-filled celebration!
Jay spent time working on vehicles and getting things ready for a new podcast he and his dad will be launching soon—so keep an eye out for that!
We were also able to host some missionaries in our home this month. It was such a joy to see them, share time together, and open our home in this way—we’re so thankful for that opportunity.
We’re still waiting for our truck to get parts and into the shop. Please pray that this happens very soon.
And finally—some big news! Surprise… we’re pregnant! This came as quite a shock and definitely wasn’t part of our original plans, but we are overjoyed and so thankful that God’s plans are always bigger and better than our own. This pregnancy continues to be healthy and is going well, and we’re so grateful for God’s protection and provision through it all.
We’re also jumping right into Night to Shine planning! We’re so excited—we’ve officially been approved and received the grant, so now the real work begins. Please pray for wisdom as we move forward and that we would follow God’s leading in every detail.
